Susberg Falls sees thousands of visitors every year, but none quite like this. A recent photo captured what appears to be a small, green figure with oversized black eyes calmly standing among tourists, blending in with its sun hat and camera. Cute? Sure. Harmless? Maybe not.
Here’s where it gets strange—eyewitnesses didn’t recall seeing this visitor at all. One local noted a strange hum in the air and an odd flicker of static on their phone as they neared the falls. Was the alien taking snapshots for its vacation album—or scouting for something else entirely?
Is Susberg Falls just a tourist spot, or could it be a point of interest for more… cosmic reasons? Keep your cameras handy and stay sharp, Susbergians—things may not be as innocent as they seem.

Though the rules of Welcome to Susberg are simple, foes complicate things, and change the way the game is played.
Each foe brings a different problem to solve. It'll take planning with your friends to come out on top. Remember, you're in this together.
Between four unique characters to play as, and randomly stacked foe decks to defeat, the game is different every time you play.
Though the rules are simple, the foes bend them in interesting ways. You and your team need to work together to get around their effects.

Welcome to Susberg is inspired by the adventure stories we grew up on about a group of childhood friends that go on a perilous journey together. Some of the key inspirations for the general theme were stories like Goonies, It, and Gravity Falls where the heroes fight to protect their homes. We've taken the spirit of those stories, and dialed up the strange and silly as far as it could go.
Each player chooses one of four characters. The athlete, who trashes cards and removes them from the game. The artist who mixes paints together and stashes cards aside for later turns. The musician who makes and spends music. The inventor who grows their energy, and puts cards back into their decks.
A deck of 18 foes is randomly stacked and the players must defeat them all to win the game. If each player loses their 5 health, it's game over.
Each turn follows the same pattern. You attack. You defend. You buy. You'll first combine your power cards to defeat foes. Then you defend from foes using your block cards. Then you buy new cards with the coin earned from defeated foes.
In total the game comes with 190 cards.
Backers can get Welcome to Susberg by pledging $25. Though if you subscribe to the Keep Susberg Strange newsletter, you'll be amongst the first to know about a special Kickstarter discount.
